We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Penderels Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to two young boys with autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the boys to get to and from school, work, college, and social activities.
  • Prompt and assist the individuals to access sporting and leisure activities.
  • Encourage socialization, participation in activities, and promote friendships and independence.
  • Develop a good and trusting one-to-one working relationship with the individuals.

Requirements
  • Be honest, reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
  • Be patient, supportive, and caring.
  • Have good listening skills and provide non-judgmental emotional support.
  • Be empathetic.
  • Previous experience in childcare or special needs is essential.
  • Be able to work flexibly, adapting to the employer's needs on a daily basis.
