Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Care South. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in assisting the Home Manager in the management of our residential care home and ensuring that we maintain high standards of care practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Home Manager in the overall management of the care home, ensuring that all aspects of care are delivered to the highest standard.
- Provide managerial leadership support for the planning, development, and running of the care home.
- Supervise and support care staff in managing individuals, ensuring that their needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that the care home operates in accordance with regulatory requirements and Care South's values.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the care home is well-integrated into the wider Care South organization.
Requirements:
- Holder of a DBS on the update service or prepared to undertake one.
- Currently working at Care Team Leader level or above and have experience within a residential home setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, residents, and their families.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
