Financial Controller

At Fairmount Park Conservancy, we are seeking a highly skilled Asset Data Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all finance, accounting, systems, and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the implementation, training, and conversion of financial data from Financial Edge to Sage Intacct and Cerify platforms.
- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and implement financial reporting materials for government, corporate, and foundation grants.
- Manage and track the performance of FPC's invested assets in accordance with organizational spending policy.
- Assist the CFOO in directing IT strategic goals and implementation.
- Leverage the strengths of the current finance team members to maximize individual, programmatic, and organizational goals.
- BS/BA in accounting or related field; MBA and/or CPA required.
- Commitment to maintaining and stewarding FPC's financial assets.
- Knowledge in the use of not-for-profit accounting software (Sage Intacct or similar product) and Microsoft Office.
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and unwavering commitment to FPC's mission.
- Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development, and analysis.
- A track record in grants management as it relates to compliance and reporting of government, corporate, and foundation grants.

We lead capital projects and historic preservation efforts, foster neighborhood park stewardship, attract and leverage investments, and develop innovative programs throughout the 10,200 acres that include Fairmount Park and more than 100 neighborhood parks around the city.
