Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced registered nurse to lead a team of nurses and healthcare assistants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our service users. As a senior nurse leader, you will be responsible for managing staff recruitment, supervision, development, and performance, as well as ensuring compliance with current healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and support a team of nurses, promoting best clinical practices and ensuring compliance with current healthcare regulations.
  2. Manage staff recruitment, supervision, development, and performance.
  3. Ensure service users, and when appropriate their families or carers, are fully involved in care planning and reviews.
  4. Oversee risk management and ensure adequate staff cover by planning effective rotas.
  5. Participate in clinical audits, quality assurance initiatives, and contribute to the development of nursing care standards.
Requirements
  1. NMC Registered Nurse with post-registration experience in a clinical setting.
  2. Completion of NMC-recognised mentor training or willingness to undertake.
  3. Knowledge of legislation within the care sector and best clinical practices.
