About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Brainkind. As a key member of our service, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest possible standard of cleanliness throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for cleaning all areas of the service as per daily cleaning schedules, managing laundry, and following guidance from the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • To carry out all duties with due regard for the Health and Safety of service users, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
  • Responsible to ensure safe storage and use of chemicals and equipment with COSHH and Health and Safety requirements.
  • To work with a number of different equipment, report the need for repair or maintenance of equipment, and for materials to be replenished.
  • To record all information required.
  • To work to national and local cleaning standards.
