About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing teams of engineers who undertake technical design work, ensuring high-quality levels are met. You will also manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes, working closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work, ensuring high-quality levels are met.

  3. Collaboration: Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  4. Quality Assurance: Set quality assurance standards in design and grow, develop and manage civil engineering capability within the practice.

Requirements:

As a Chartered or near Chartered Engineer, you will have experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design within the port and maritime environment. You will need a comprehensive knowledge in the civil and structural design of port and maritime infrastructure supporting port operations, as well as a working experience with current UK and European design standards including BS6349.
