About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a specialist school that provides education for approximately 80 pupils with complex and severe learning needs. The school is committed to providing a personalized curriculum that enables all pupils to reach exceptional standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or adults with special needs or mental health difficulties. They will be flexible, positive, calm, patient, and empathetic, with the ability to work as part of a skilled, enthusiastic, and hardworking team.

The role is a Bank/Adhoc position, allowing the successful candidate to choose their working days between Monday and Friday, term time only. The working hours are 08:50 - 15:40.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with complex and severe learning needs
  • Work as part of a team to provide a personalized curriculum
  • Assist with the development of individualized education plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to pupils
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to education
Requirements
