Job Overview

Fyba Talent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civils Supervisor to join our team. As a Senior Civils Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of civil infrastructure for our FTTP network deployment project in Suffolk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Civils Delivery Manager to ensure timely completion of network builds and installations, adhering to client and project specifications.
  • Monitor work progress to guarantee compliance with streetworks permits and client timescales.
  • Prepare and review daily/weekly reports, highlighting any risks or issues that may impact project delivery milestones.
  • Conduct internal inspections and compliance checks to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to NRSWA and Health & Safety standards.
  • Liaise with local authorities and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Perform audits to verify that work sites meet regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure productivity targets are met and that all work is carried out safely and to adequate standards as stated in the contract specification.
  • Review and close corrective actions, raising improvement suggestions to redefine works.
  • Verify completion of all works documentation and as-built drawings.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in civils supervising, preferably on FTTH/P projects.
  • Strong understanding of Fibre Network Delivery within FTTP.
  • Proficient IT skills, including knowledge of various applications and packages.
  • Ability to implement agreed plans that support business needs and operational effectiveness.
  • NRSWA Supervisor accreditation.
  • Valid driving license.
