Job Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Roster Coordinator to join our Network Rail team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining effective and efficient rosters for employees, ensuring compliance with company standards and national rostering principles.

About the Role

The Roster Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Compiling and publishing agreed rosters using the corporate rostering tool.
  • Preparing rosters for weekly rostered duties, covering sickness, annual leave, training, briefing, and special arrangements.
  • Managing short notice roster alterations and resolving any queries relating to roster issues.
  • Making roster arrangements for medical examinations and interviews.
  • Monitoring competency data to ensure no base roster shifts are left uncovered due to expired competencies.

Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent knowledge of national rostering principles.
  • Previous successful experience in prioritizing workloads and delivering to deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous successful experience of analyzing data and producing reports.
