Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to support the teaching and learning of Maths at a reputable educational institution. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible, and resourceful individual able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to identify the support each pupil needs.
  • Identify learning gaps and develop bespoke intervention programmes for pupils.
  • Develop and deliver engaging sessions to support a range of learners with clear learning objectives.
  • Deliver measurable outcomes from each session to track progress.
  • Provide high-quality tuition and academic support, tailored to individual or small groups.
  • Work alongside the pupils' teacher to plan and deliver interventions to support learning across the curriculum.
Requirements
  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C/5 or above.
  • A proven ability to work on their own initiative.
  • High-level communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.
  • The ability to use relevant technology/equipment.
  • A can-do attitude.
  • A commitment to the well-being, self-esteem, and progress of everyone at the school.
