Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead our nursing team on weekend shifts at our skilled nursing facility in Rochester, NY. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring our nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff on weekend shifts
- Develop and implement employee policies and procedures
- Mentor less experienced nurses in clinical and career development
- Ensure high-quality patient care and maintain standards of care
- Review resident records and quality of care
- Monitor overall care and review individual resident cases
- Address resident and family concerns and represent the unit's interests with upper-level management
Requirements:
- Valid NYS RN License
- 2 years of Long Term Care experience preferred
- 1 year of Charge Nurse experience preferred
- Excellent positive attitude and leadership skills
- Strong computer skills
- Exceptional communication skills
