Business Development Manager - Specialist Services

About the Role:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing, developing, and maintaining a pipeline of high-value new business opportunities to deliver profitable growth for the Specialist Services division. This role requires a senior business development professional with experience in tailoring and developing total waste management solutions for the UK manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and revenue
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of high-value new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver total waste management solutions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and networking
  • Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients
  • Manage and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and provide insights to improve business growth

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a comparable business development role
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and revenue
  • Strong understanding of the waste management industry and relevant laws
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
