About the Role:

Proman Recruitment is seeking a skilled and professional 3.5T Delivery Driver to join our client's delivery service team in Halifax. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality home delivery services to our clients' customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a 3.5T van and work alongside an assistant/Drivers Mate to fulfill the home delivery service.
  • Act as a professional representation of our client's brand at every touchpoint during delivery.
  • Load and unload furniture from the vehicle, lifting items as required.
  • Develop a strong rapport with customers and provide an exceptional service to each and every one.
  • Work a standard 38.75-hour week, with some Saturdays and no Sundays.

Requirements:

  • Valid 3.5T driving license.
  • Proven experience in home delivery or a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move furniture as required.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive pay rate of £11.60 (Monday - Saturday) and £13.01 (Monday - Saturday, including holiday pay).
  • A placement offer based on a successful interview and driving assessment.
