We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team in Hull. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and interpreters.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and courteous phone support to clients and interpreters, directing calls to the appropriate staff member as needed.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, providing guidance and support to colleagues as required.
  • Manage email correspondence with clients and interpreters, developing positive working relationships.
  • Act with professionalism and discretion in handling client dissatisfaction and other challenging situations.
  • Coordinate face-to-face interpreting bookings, allocating tasks to available interpreters.
  • Handle requests for information and data, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy.

This is a full-time position with flexible hours to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a call centre or office environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to handle high call volumes and meet targets.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of other languages may be an advantage.
