Creative Classroom Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a Creative Classroom Assistant in a special needs school in Newcastle. As a key member of our SEN department, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to meet their unique needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of creative and engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Support the class teacher in managing the classroom, preparing materials, and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
- Help students develop social skills and emotional resilience, providing encouragement and positive reinforcement.
- Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other staff members to create and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
- Foster strong relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and any concerns.
