Pure Resourcing Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join a leading manufacturing business on a 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an IT improvement programme, including technology upgrades, ERP migration, and process improvements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an IT improvement programme, including technology upgrades, ERP migration, and process improvements.
  • Manage the recertification to Cyber Essentials Plus once the IT improvement programme is complete.
  • Effectively engage with the local IT team, central IT teams, and vendors to deliver the required outcomes.
  • Manage the plan, dependencies, and risks, resolving them whenever possible and escalating appropriately if needed.
  • Manage budgets, ensuring good cost control.
  • Develop a lightweight and effective reporting mechanism to keep stakeholders appraised of progress.
  • Manage vendor relationships to deliver on contract expectations and value for money.
  • Collaborate with the Group IT function to leverage corporate resources, expertise, and technologies, ensuring alignment with overall IT governance, architecture, and security standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Qualification in Project Management or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing a series of changes simultaneously and alongside larger projects.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven project delivery, vendor, and contract management skills.
  • Experience implementing lightweight project processes pragmatically and aligned with central IT.
  • Understanding of cyber security frameworks, including Cyber Essentials Plus.
