Job Title: Head of Apprenticeships and Work-Based Training

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational leader to join our team as the Head of Apprenticeships and Work-Based Training. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of high-quality apprenticeship and work-based training programs that meet the needs of our communities, stakeholders, and employers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of professionals to achieve exceptional results in apprenticeship and work-based training.
  • Develop and execute cutting-edge apprenticeship and work-based training programs that meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
  • Drive the employer engagement strategy with innovation and effectiveness, fostering key stakeholder relationships to expand training delivery.
  • Utilize advanced apprenticeship monitoring software for precise reporting and stay ahead of apprenticeship trends and policy changes to keep our programs cutting-edge.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of management experience in a similar role.
  • Proven success in delivering and managing apprenticeship programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of the English further education and skills systems.
  • Recognised assessor qualification (A1/A2, D32/33, or TAQA).
  • Level 2 qualifications in Maths, English, and ICT.
