Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative leader to head our Apprenticeships and Work-Based Training department. As a key member of the Oaklands College Management Team, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of high-quality apprenticeship programs that meet the needs of our communities, stakeholders, and employers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of professionals to achieve exceptional results in apprenticeship delivery and employer engagement.
- Develop and execute cutting-edge apprenticeship and work-based training programs that meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Foster and manage key stakeholder relationships to expand training delivery and ensure the needs of our communities and employers are met.
- Stay ahead of apprenticeship trends and policy changes to keep our programs cutting-edge and relevant.
- Utilise advanced apprenticeship monitoring software for precise reporting and data analysis.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in a similar role.
- Proven success in delivering and managing apprenticeship programs.
- In-depth knowledge of the English further education and skills systems.
- Recognised assessor qualification (A1/A2, D32/33, or TAQA).
- Level 2 qualifications in Maths, English, and ICT.
- Experience as an Ofsted Inspector (OI) for apprenticeship provision is a plus.
