About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at EMBS Technology. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing bespoke enterprise applications using the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions using Java, JBOSS, Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software applications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and system design documents.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for adoption and implementation.
Requirements
  • Strong programming skills with experience in developing enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency with open source languages, tools, and frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with the following technologies:
  • Java: JBOSS, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate
  • Service-Oriented Architectures: RESTful, SOAP
  • Web Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, User Interface Design
  • Relational Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • Cloud Development: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
  • Linux environment management
  • Unified Modelling Language (UML)
  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and test automation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
