About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as an Employment Adviser at Reed in Partnership. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting unemployed jobseekers in finding and sustaining employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support: Meet with jobseekers to identify challenges and barriers to employment, and provide guidance on CV writing and job application processes.
  • Training and Development: Book jobseekers onto relevant training courses, including customer service, security, hospitality, and personal development.
  • Employer Engagement: Liaise with employers to identify employment opportunities for jobseekers and promote Reed in Partnership within the local community.
  • Outreach and Promotion: Conduct outreach work to raise awareness of Reed in Partnership's services and engage with local communities.
Requirements
  • Coaching and Mentoring Experience: Demonstrate coaching and mentoring experience, as well as persuasion and influencing skills.
  • Customer-Facing Experience: Possess experience working in a customer-facing environment, such as customer services, hospitality, or social care.
  • Performance-Driven Environment: Have experience working in a performance-target driven environment.
  • Travel and Flexibility: Be willing to travel locally to meet with customers and employers, and have flexibility in working hours.
  • Education and Qualifications: Hold a minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma, and GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification).
