The Elizabeth School of London is seeking a Wellbeing Officer to join our London campus. As a key member of our student support team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our students throughout their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct wellbeing meetings with students to discuss their problems and provide guidance and advice.
- Analyse and identify wellbeing cases and share reports with the Wellbeing Manager.
- Provide support to students experiencing emotional or practical difficulties that affect their learning.
- Manage a caseload of student wellbeing matters, reviewing support needs and logging student outcomes.
- Collaborate with other teams to establish and maintain productive relationships with colleagues across the university.
- Plan and organise your own workload and contribute to longer-term plans and programmes.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Psychology, Education, or a related subject.
- A willingness to train in Mental Health First Aid.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Sensitivity and empathy with students, colleagues, and staff.
- Ability to deal with confidential matters and act with discretion.
- A Master's degree in Psychology or a Mental Health qualification.
- Experience in producing and managing timetables in an educational context.
- Strong IT skills.
- Evidence of working with a diversity of students.
- Experience in risk assessments and crisis management.
