ROXBURGHE HOUSE – A SPECIALIZED PALLIATIVE CARE FACILITY WITHIN NHS GRAMPIAN, CONNECTED TO THE ACUTE SECTOR AND ANCHOR UNIT.

This position presents a unique chance to join a regional specialist palliative care team. Roxburghe House is a dedicated facility strategically located to foster strong collaborations with the acute physiotherapy team and the ANCHOR unit. Our focus is on providing comprehensive symptom management for patients facing life-limiting conditions. The multidisciplinary team is dedicated to ensuring optimal quality of life for patients while also offering support to caregivers and families.

Can you showcase your ability to respond with empathy and professionalism to patients and families dealing with serious illnesses? We seek individuals who are flexible, adaptable, compassionate, and eager for a new professional challenge.

There is potential for you to explore and innovate within the existing service framework. We are particularly interested in developing new care pathways, especially for managing symptoms such as breathlessness and utilizing respiratory aids.

This role will also involve providing education to students and contributing to weekend service coverage as per the established rota.
