Position Overview

Due to our ongoing expansion, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis. This role entails overseeing electrical engineering activities on various sites across Southern England.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise electrical installations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and legislation.
  • Maintain the highest quality standards in all installations.
  • Implement and advocate for the STAR dynamic risk assessment process.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates, and Apprentices.
  • Exemplify and promote Bridges' core values in interactions with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Encourage a culture of health and wellbeing among team members.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possession of an ECS gold card (essential).
  • SSSTS / SMSTS certification (essential).
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor.
  • Background in the water, heavy industrial, or construction sectors.
  • Experience in industrial and/or panel wiring.
  • Relevant City & Guilds trade qualification.
  • CCNSG certification or equivalent.
  • Valid UK driving license.

Desirable Qualifications

  • EUSR water hygiene certification.
  • Thames Water passport.
  • Test and Inspect qualification.
  • Emergency first aid or First Aider certification.
  • PASMA / IPAF / Confined space training.
  • COMPEX certification.
