Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Maintech Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production machinery and facilities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform reactive and planned maintenance tasks to ensure prompt attendance to breakdowns and adherence to PPM schedules.
  • Update and introduce new stores, spares, and equipment to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Work closely with production staff to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct shift handovers and liaise with production staff to ensure seamless communication.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
  • 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a heavy to medium manufacturing environment or with agricultural machinery.
  • Be based in the UK with the relevant right to work documents.
  • Be flexible and able to integrate within a Continuous Improvement culture.
Benefits:
  • Basic Salary: £46,500 (inclusive of shift allowance).
  • 8-hour night shifts, Sunday night to Friday morning.
  • Pension contribution.
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Free onsite parking.
