Civil Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment Ltd. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential housing roads and sewers design, with a strong background in developing engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake technical and feasibility studies, including site investigations, to identify potential design solutions.
  • Utilize a range of computer software, including Civils 3D, Site 3D, and WinDes MicroDrainage, to develop detailed designs and models.
  • Perform complex calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Compile job specifications and supervise tendering procedures to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Resolve design and development problems through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage budgets and project resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 6 years' experience in the industry, with a strong background in residential sector design.
  • Chartered or working towards chartership with a relevant professional body.
  • Proficient in Civils 3D, Site 3D, and WinDes MicroDrainage software.
  • Knowledge of s38, s278, s104, s106, s184, and s185 applications.
  • UK driving license.
