Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Woodbury Park Hotel And Golf Club. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus, food purchasing specifications, and recipes to meet the needs of our guests and the hotel's culinary goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen porters, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Manage food and labor budgets for the department, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to develop and implement culinary initiatives that drive revenue growth and enhance the guest experience.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of food safety, quality, and presentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, guests, and external partners.
