We are pleased to announce a permanent opportunity for the role of Assistant Ward Leader at Citrine Ward within the Ardenleigh Women's Secure Blended Service.
In this role, you will collaborate with the existing management team to inspire and guide a nursing staff dedicated to delivering exceptional care.
You will have access to Leadership and Management Training, regular clinical and managerial supervision, as well as continuous professional development opportunities to advance your nursing management career.
Ardenleigh specializes in providing care for individuals with complex mental health challenges, supporting their recovery through comprehensive treatments that promote social inclusion, self-management, personal autonomy, and independence.
Ideal candidates must thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment, showcasing a variety of skills such as effective communication, empathy, self-awareness, and critical self-reflection.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based care for designated service users or groups, including health promotion.
- Participate in establishing quality standards and monitor and review them in accordance with current clinical guidelines and policies.
- Ensure understanding and compliance with professional roles and responsibilities under the Care Programme Approach and relevant safeguarding legislation.
- Adhere to the requirements of the Mental Health Act 1983 and its Code of Practice.
- Build therapeutic relationships with service users and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council's code of conduct.
