We are seeking a skilled Front-end Developer to join our team at Digital Waffle, a dynamic and innovative web development agency. Our company is committed to delivering cutting-edge digital solutions for our clients, specializing in creating beautiful, functional, and high-performance websites and web applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Develop web applications using React and, ensuring they are highly performant and efficient.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
  • Work closely with the backend development team to integrate with APIs and databases.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Stay up to date with the latest web development trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues and bugs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with React and in a professional or personal project setting.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frontend technologies.
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Knowledge of web performance optimisation and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  • A portfolio of previous web development work is highly desirable.
