Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to join our team at Ikuto. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities
  • Backend Development: Develop and maintain high-quality backend services using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with front-end developers to integrate applications built with JavaScript, TypeScript, and REACT, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • AI-Driven Projects: Contribute to AI-driven projects involving machine learning and large language models, working with Python where necessary, and leveraging your expertise to drive innovation.
  • Code Reviews and Process Improvement: Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development process, ensuring best practices and high-quality code.
  • Feature Development: Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications, and providing exceptional support to our clients.
Requirements
  • Java Development Expertise: Strong experience in Java development, with a solid understanding of Spring Boot, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Front-end Technologies: Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, and REACT, although expertise in any front-end framework is welcome.
  • Python and AI/ML: Experience working with Python, particularly in AI/ML contexts, is a plus, and you should be able to leverage your expertise to drive innovation.
  • Cloud Platforms and Microservices: Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is beneficial, and you should be able to design and implement scalable and secure solutions.
  • Problem-Solving and Collaboration: Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to work, and a strong ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
