We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as a Head of Year at Manchester City Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional pastoral support to students in their year group, promoting outstanding behaviour, attendance, and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take a strategic lead in promoting outstanding behaviour, attendance, and progress among students in their year group.
- Provide exceptional pastoral support to students, including guidance, advice, and support.
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and other stakeholders to ensure the well-being and success of students.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes and achievement.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pastoral support systems and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- 5 GCSEs C/4 Above
- Pro-rata to actual salary estimate £26,515.17 ‐ £29,856.50
