Pastoral Manager

The Pastoral Manager is a key role within our academy, responsible for the personal development and welfare of all pupils within their year group. Our ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, organised, and flexible individual who can enable pupils to maintain excellent learning habits and high levels of independence and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and sustain strong routines to inspire pupils to engage widely across the school
- Ensure all pupils engage strongly in extra-curricular activities and develop a range of leadership roles within their year groups
- Work closely with the Head of Year and form tutors to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads to ensure the welfare and safety of all pupils
- Experience of working with young people to secure excellent outcomes
- Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and the development of others
