Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Groundworker to join our trades team and contribute to the repair, maintenance, and improvement of our affordable housing stock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to housing stock and liaise with tenants to identify and diagnose groundwork and fencing defects.
  • Undertake responsive and planned maintenance of groundwork, fencing, and clearance services to properties owned or managed by Fairhive.
  • Execute workmanship to a high standard and ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work Act and relevant legislation.

Requirements

  • Good physical fitness, including the ability to lift, work at heights, and in differing conditions.
  • Hold City & Guilds Part III /NVQ level 3 in General Construction or equivalent qualification.
  • Have building works-related skills such as carpentry, brick laying, and plumbing skills.
  • Hold a valid Driving Licence.
  • Excellent awareness of current Health and Safety regulations and ability to work safely.
