Student Support Coordinator – Wellbeing Hub
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 (pro rata for part-time and sessional)
Working Hours: 30 hours per week, 39 weeks sessional

Working Schedule: Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 15:25, Friday 08:30 – 12:50

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Student Support Coordinator (SSC) to assist young individuals in their transition from primary education, enhance their social and communication abilities, and facilitate positive future pathways. Candidates with experience in engaging with children and their families, or those with prior experience as Pupil Support Assistants, are encouraged to consider this opportunity.

This role will entail establishing trusting relationships with children and their families, which may include providing support within family environments. The SSC will be an integral part of the enhanced staffing within the Wellbeing Hub, collaborating with a Curriculum Leader and a Pupil Support Assistant to aid children with social and emotional challenges in thriving within their mainstream educational settings.

All successful applicants will receive comprehensive training to equip them for their responsibilities.
