Senior Facilities Manager

Giggling Restaurants Ltd is a leading restaurant group in the UK, known for its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. We are a dynamic and growing business, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Facilities Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and implementing building maintenance for all of our restaurants and on-site staff accommodation. This will involve managing maintenance contractors, assessing quotes, and coordinating maintenance activity with our Facilities Managers and maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee and implement building maintenance for all restaurants and on-site staff accommodation.
  • To manage maintenance contractors, assess quotes, and coordinate maintenance activity with Facilities Managers and the maintenance team.
  • To communicate with sites and management to plan and complete maintenance works.
  • To monitor the online maintenance platform, ProNett.
  • To manage all projects and the performance of the in-house maintenance team.
  • To conduct regular site surveys of new and existing restaurant properties.
  • To ensure best practice and adherence to all Giggling Restaurants Ltd, legal, and health and safety procedures at all times.
  • To ensure all business activities, including contractor work, take place safely and securely.
  • To have experience of managing multiple contractors.
  • To have strong time management and ability to plan site visits and complete maintenance works.
  • To have experience in systems management, including maintenance and compliance.
  • To be qualified to HND level in Building Surveying or equivalent.
  • To have a suitable NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
  • To have the ability to communicate with both senior management and restaurant staff.
  • To have a high attention to detail and strong project management skills.

Requirements:

  • Experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with maintenance management software and systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures and regulations.
