Position Overview:
Role: Flexible Learning Support Assistant (Supply)
Location: Various SEN Schools
Type: Temporary, Flexible
Compensation: £95 per day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily support to students with diverse SEN, including autism, ADHD, and other learning challenges.
  • Assist educators in fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning atmosphere.
  • Adapt to various educational environments and student requirements, providing personalized support as needed.
  • Build positive relationships with students, enhancing their confidence and helping them reach their potential.
  • Manage challenging behaviors with professionalism and patience.
  • Support students with personal care, mobility, and daily activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young individuals with SEN is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to various educational settings.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting students with special needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant qualifications in special education or a related field are advantageous.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
