Position: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Hounslow, London

Salary: £85-£100 per day

Contract: Term Time Only

Are you a nurturing and committed SEND Teaching Assistant? We are currently seeking passionate individuals to support students with special educational needs in Hounslow. This role is perfect for those looking to advance their career in an educational setting.

The successful candidates will possess experience in working with children who have special educational needs and will be able to showcase their understanding of the SEND Teaching Assistant role.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEND.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that fosters self-esteem and belonging.
  • Work collaboratively with the school's SENCO and other specialists to formulate tailored learning plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of students, offering consistent feedback to educators and families.
  • Contribute to a safe and encouraging learning atmosphere at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Prior experience with children who have special educational needs is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of effective teaching methods and resources for diverse learning requirements.
