Head of Finance Opportunity

NMS Recruit Limited is partnering with a highly respected organisation based in Wigan to secure a Head of Finance. This is a full-time opportunity for a strategic financial leader who can make a significant impact on the business.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing financial strategies and ensuring compliance. They will manage financial planning, reporting, and analysis, and improve financial performance and reduce costs. The Head of Finance will also provide strategic financial advice and collaborate with other departments. Additionally, they will lead and develop a finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth
  • Manage financial planning, reporting, and analysis to inform business decisions
  • Improve financial performance and reduce costs through process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and the board
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Lead and develop a finance team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a qualified accounting background (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) and senior finance experience. They will also have financial services industry knowledge and leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
