About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing financial strategies and ensuring compliance. They will manage financial planning, reporting, and analysis, and improve financial performance and reduce costs. Additionally, they will provide strategic financial advice and collaborate with other departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in leadership and team management. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth
  • Manage financial planning, reporting, and analysis to inform business decisions
  • Improve financial performance and reduce costs through process improvements and cost control
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and the board
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives
  • Lead and develop a finance team to ensure effective financial management

Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent
  • Senior finance role (e.g., Finance Manager, Group Financial Controller)
  • Financial services industry knowledge
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Financial planning, budgeting, and analysis expertise
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
