Job Description

Class People is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of one of the leading independent schools in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial records.
  • Maintain accounting systems and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Manage annual audits, liaise with auditors, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including VAT returns.
  • Provide financial insights for decision-making and long-term planning to support the school's growth and development.
Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial management, ideally within education or the non-profit sector.
  • Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, people management, and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
