Job Title: Portfolio Insights Manager

We're seeking a skilled Portfolio Insights Manager to join our Operational Excellence team at First Central Services. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with senior leadership to provide reporting, insight, and analysis on value being delivered across the change portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to focus on the provision of reporting, insight, and analysis on value being delivered across the change portfolio.
  • Help the organisation articulate and measure business outcomes and how value is flowing through the change system.
  • Support the business in the measurement of business outcomes by collating and analysing data across all elements of the end-to-end change delivery 'system'. This covers all elements of value, flow, and quality across people, process, and technology.
  • Provide insights into what the data is showing and work effectively with the business to measure the impact of agreed experiments to improve performance.
  • Define and iterate the value enablement insights capability, ensuring reporting is accurate and at the highest standard working closely with Change Leadership and Finance business partners.
Requirements:
  • Strong data analysis and ability to tell a story with data.
  • Lean Agile portfolio reporting (understanding of Agile change delivery/value, flow, and quality).
  • PowerBI/Actionable Agile or other visual data platforms.
  • Experience in application of the fundamental principles of value delivery, creating flow, and defining and delivering quality outcomes.
  • Proven skills in helping a team adapt to major changes, such as adopting Agile practices.
  • Proficiency in working with a range of data sources, including large datasets.
  • Experience in effectively visualising complex data, designing, presenting, and preparing reporting information in multiple formats for different audiences.
  • Highly proficient skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Tools – knowledge of creating dashboards through PowerBI/Actionable Agile or other visual platforms.
  • Experience of reviewing and improving PMO best practices and ways of working.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience of turning data into insights.
  • Appreciation of Lean/Agile principles and methods.
  • Experienced at building relationships with and managing senior stakeholders.
  • Structured/scientific thinking and tenacity to drive for improvement.
  • Commercial awareness and acumen with the ability to plan and deliver improvement activities.
  • Flexible approach to work and adopts a positive attitude, embracing, embedding, and incorporating the Company values.
