Job Title: Youth Worker

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced Youth Worker to join our team at a SEMH school in Hulme. The successful candidate will work with students aged 11-16 who have additional needs and mental health issues.

About the Role:

The Youth Worker will build strong relationships with students, acting as a mentor and role model. They will use mentoring skills to help students engage with the school and support them in the classroom and out of the classroom on a vocational basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Forge strong relationships with students and act as a mentor and role model

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mentoring children and young adults. They will be able to work with students who have experienced trauma, neglect, or chaotic home lives.
