Salary: £ 95 to £ 105 per day

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to support the nurturing and educational needs of young children in our client schools. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators to foster the emotional and social growth of children in a safe and engaging environment.

Role Summary: The Nursery Assistant plays a crucial role in facilitating the daily activities and developmental progress of children in an early years setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing children during various activities including playtime, meals, and rest periods.
  • Assisting with essential care routines such as feeding and maintaining hygiene.
  • Engaging children in creative play-based learning experiences that stimulate exploration and problem-solving.
  • Promoting educational activities that enhance physical, cognitive, and social skills.
  • Supporting both indoor and outdoor play while ensuring a secure and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Effectively communicating with parents regarding their child's daily experiences and development.
  • Aiding in administrative duties such as attendance tracking and preparation of educational materials.
  • Adhering to nursery policies to safeguard the well-being of all children.

Essential Qualifications for a Successful Nursery Assistant:

  • Excellent listening abilities to address the needs of children and their families.
