About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Showroom Team Member in Ashburton. As the first point of contact at our Trade Counter and Showroom, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining effective relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process sales at our Trade Counter
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers by offering product support and technical information
  • Assist customers with returns or repairs
  • Monitor inventory and cycle counts
  • Play an integral part of growing sales within the department
  • Merchandise and run in-store promotions

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience in a customer service and/or retail sales environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with people from all ages and backgrounds
  • Motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently
  • Computer and numeracy knowledge
  • Great attention to detail and be organized
  • Strong sales focus and ability to build rapport quickly
