About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our care team as a Support Worker. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adults with varying needs, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in the implementation of individual support plans and activities, promoting independence and well-being.
- Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and other stakeholders, respecting confidentiality and dignity.
- Support service users with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and social events, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
- Record and maintain accurate notes and records, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver exceptional care and support, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
Requirements
- Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one.
- Experience in supporting adults with challenging behavior, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work independently or as part of a team.
- Passion for working with vulnerable adults and commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding.
