Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in Surrey. As a key member of our Software Engineering team, you will play a critical role in growing and transforming our technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications.
  • Manage interaction between systems and other technical support areas.
  • Define technical requirements and coordinate team resources to solve problems.
  • Guide the team to tackle problems at differentiating levels of complexity.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Design, develop, analyze, configure, test, debug, troubleshoot, document, health monitor/alert, and implement software based on user or system specifications.
  • Collaborate with a robust team of engineers to sharpen your skills and learn various emerging technologies.
  • Research and apply knowledge of current industry trends and techniques to formulate solutions for software engineering problems.
Requirements
  • Programming/development experience focused on Java 11 or greater.
  • Strong working knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Webservices (SOAP, REST), HTML/CSS/Javascript, Git/GitHub.
  • Proficient in API design and implementation.
  • Experience designing and implementing data-driven applications using relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing platforms such as AWS Lambda.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing cloud-native/containerized applications in scalable environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver work at a steady, predictable pace.
  • Demonstrated track record of domain expertise and ability to understand technical concepts and industry trends.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate well with team members and business partners.
