About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at Daniel Owen Ltd. As a key member of our Property Services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality glass installation services to our customers in the London Borough of Hounslow.

Responsibilities
  • Measure, install, and repair glass in domestic properties, ensuring the correct and appropriate glass is used.
  • Set glass doors into frames and bolt metal hinges, locks, and handles to attach doors to frames and walls using a spirit level.
  • Install pre-assembled wood or metal frameworks for doors and windows before glass panel installation using hand tools.
  • Cut, assemble, measure, or install metal frames and enclosures for glass panels in various areas and structures.
  • Cut and remove old and broken glass before installing replacement glass.
  • Pack loose areas between glass panels and moulding or frames with glazing compound, and trim excess materials using a glazing knife.
Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
  • GQA Level 2 or 3 NVQ Certificate in Glazing (desirable)
