We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS). As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in enabling our clients to thrive in an age of constant change.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead sourcing activities from proposal to contract signature, including negotiation, cost analysis, and business case development.
- Manage contract management, including drafting, negotiating, and finalizing agreements with suppliers to ensure compliance and optimize terms.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks within the supply chain to ensure continuity and resilience.
- Work with relevant functions and stakeholders to build and maintain category strategies within designated categories to draw value for our clients.
- Manage supplier relationships and in-contract supplier management, including supplier performance management, cost reduction activities, and resolving commercial issues.
- A degree in a relevant field or CIPS qualification.
- Experience working as a buyer in a regulated or complex industry, demonstrating strong experience in strategic sourcing and managing supplier relationships.
- Understanding of risk management and building a resilient supply chain.
- Proven track record of successful negotiations, coupled with strong commercial and financial skills.
- Digital awareness and analytical capability.
