Logistics People is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Operators for temporary assignments.

About the Role:
As an HGV Class 1 Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Transporting refrigerated goods that require specific temperature control.
  • Driving on established routes, including long-distance transportation between distribution centers.
  • Delivering various types of products to retail locations.
  • Engaging in general haulage activities, moving goods from one location to another.
  • Performing manual handling tasks, which may include lifting and moving items during loading and unloading.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues to maintain vehicle safety and compliance.
- Keeping accurate records of deliveries, including logbooks and other necessary documentation in line with company policies and legal standards.

Requirements:
- A valid HGV Class 1/C+E License.
- A minimum of 6 months of driving experience in HGV Class 1 operations.
