Position Overview

The Senior Vendor Relationship Manager is responsible for orchestrating, guiding, and managing the operational facets of service agreements and vendor contracts assigned to this role. This position is pivotal in fostering a collaborative partnership between McDonald's and its key vendors. The individual in this role must possess a comprehensive understanding of all elements related to McDonald's Technology vendor contracts and act as the primary contact for any issues arising from various functional areas, such as Application Maintenance and Development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of governance frameworks as stipulated in service agreements, ensuring alignment with McDonald's internal processes.
  • Establish and nurture effective relationships with vendors to facilitate open communication and efficient resolution of strategies, priorities, and issues.
  • Lead governance meetings to ensure continuous alignment between McDonald's and its vendors.
  • Manage action items resulting from governance discussions, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Continuously assess and enhance the vendor governance process to improve effectiveness.
  • Advise McDonald's management on contract-related challenges, facilitating resolution from identification to closure.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize vendor contracts and relationships.
  • Identify additional sourcing opportunities within existing vendor partnerships.
  • Conduct periodic customer satisfaction surveys and implement necessary follow-up actions.
  • Facilitate formal vendor evaluations, assessing contract performance and market benchmarks.
  • Monitor service level agreement (SLA) performance and support resolution efforts for any arising issues.
  • Work with technology leaders and vendors to establish and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) that enhance the partnership.
  • Direct the performance management strategy and reporting processes for all relevant services.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of managed services and vendor processes to identify risks and compliance issues.
  • Analyze performance dashboards and service metrics to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in IT contract management and vendor relationship administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of outsourcing practices, contract management, and financial oversight.
  • Proven experience managing strategic vendor relationships and large-scale contracts.
  • In-depth understanding of IT outsourcing and performance management methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks effectively under pressure.
