Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Orion Electrotech. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and products, working closely with our team of engineers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and products, including customer-specific orders and R&D projects
  • Take ownership of the design process, from concept through to manufacturing, including producing detailed build manuals and user documentation
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure high standards of quality and innovation
  • Collaborate with the control and automation team to design and develop complex automated machinery and systems
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience with SolidWorks/EPDM Vault
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Solid understanding of pneumatic control systems
  • Experience designing moving parts, mechanisms, and complex automated machinery
